Hamburg 1983. Fresh from college, two friends in one of the world's major port cities join forces in a bold attempt to turn their passion for computers into a business. With a natural interest in ocean trade, Wieland Burmester and Andreas Vogel decide to specialise in software solutions for the maritime industry. Their mission - to develop fast, simple alternatives to time-consuming and error-prone manual calculation of some of the most complex tasks in shipping.

The rest is history!
