Massachusetts Clean Energy Center Awards B&V Funding to Reduce Port Emissions Using AI/ML
Burmester & Vogel has received funding from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center to support development of AI and machine learning analytics.
Grant Focus
The initiative aims to help vessels reduce their in-port emissions by providing actionable insights into the drivers of delays and excess port time.
Our Technology
B&V’s software platform helps industrial producers, commodity traders, bulk terminals, and shipowners track delay calculations and demurrage fees during cargo loading and discharge operations.
By analyzing patterns in vessel delays and port operations, our AI can identify opportunities to reduce idle time—directly contributing to lower emissions and more efficient operations.
Join Our Team
We are expanding our team of artificial intelligence and machine learning developers. If you’re interested in applying cutting-edge AI to real-world maritime challenges, reach out via info@burmester-vogel.com.
