Evangelos Efstathiou Acquires Burmester & Vogel
Evangelos Efstathiou has completed a Series A funding round and acquired Burmester & Vogel, a freight software firm specializing in laytime and demurrage calculations since 1983. He has assumed ownership and operational control effective immediately.
New Leadership
Efstathiou, an MIT graduate with extensive maritime industry experience, previously founded Skysail Advisors and held senior roles at firms including Veson Nautical and SpecTec.
On the acquisition, he stated:
