B&V’s CEO Evangelos Efstathiou attended the Spring 2023 conference of the North East Association of Rail Shippers (“NEARS”) in Newport RI this week. NEARS brings together leading rail shippers, railcar owners and rail carriers from the U.S. and Canada to discuss market developments, supply chain practices, and technology innovation. B&V has had ongoing discussions with rail shippers on improving rail service by combining geospatial and demurrage data to provide insights on costs and sources of delay.
